The restaurant is well run and food excellent - Italian style . Service is good and one must book even on a week night. It is good for both business and family/friends meetings. They serve a variety of food. pastas, peri peri chicken very good and fish great ad meat dishes - also pizzas - something for everyone including vegetarians!!

I do enjoy GOOD food! And it's unfortunate that this restaurant has fallen short on specifics that I find to be staples of what is considered to be authentic Italian food. The first blunder was their Caprese starter which should be served with fresh mozarella, it was served with convenience slices of mozarella which killed that for me. And then... More

This restaurant situated in suburban La Lucia, offers consistant good value for money meals, with an Italian flavour. It is extremely popular with locals and bookings are necessary. Service can be a little slow over weekends. Families are welcome.

Lovely family style restaurant, which enjoys the support of the locals, good food good service at reasonable prices. Must ensure you book as its busy most nights and especially over week end. Baby chicken is a signature dish and mine was superb. Great value

We have been going quite frequently to Al Firenze for lunch on Fridays with friends and our latest visit was not exception to the excellence of the food. The oysters were so fresh you could taste the sea, my favourite dish the linguine with langoustines in a creamy sauce was perfect and my husband had the steenbras with vegetables which... More

Excellent food, music and venue. Not sure if it would be the same if it was not a private function, but the quality of the food was sublime, the staff efficient and friendly

We love this place. Not sure why? but definitely backed by good food, consistently delicious, busy with locals and foreigners. The kind of place, you could go to Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat and what about Sunday lunch? Fish always fresh, but their peri peri chicken is one of my absolute favourites.

Good Food and service. Ask to sit on the verandah at Lunch time if the weather is good and it's a good idea to book in advance.

I returned to Al Firenze for a family dinner and was not disappointed.. Food was brilliant, staff accommodating towards my children and their service in general was great. Definitely a hidden gem worth seeking out
