Whilst on holiday in Umhlanga Rocks, we popped into Steak & Ale for a mid-week dinner. The service was great and the food was well cooked and presented. The menu was nicely diverse, which caters for either pub grub or more sofisticated steak house food.
We ordered a few light bites, which ended up costing more than expected, not very clear on the menu. Some which had to be returned

The food was great as was the service. Maybe a bit noisy for some on a late Friday afternoon, but there should be quieter times as well. Great lunch time specials.
This is a pub atmosphere and is always buzzing. The food was great value for money and the steaks were done to perfection on the tow occasions we visited. The service was good and we can highly recommend this establishment
