Beautiful modern place with great service. Music loud and doesn't suite to a restaurant, makes u eat faster and not relax. Food was good. Portuguese peri peri sauce is delicious!

We have been eating here for a few years and the food is consistently good. The service is always great and the staff are pleasant. Whilst they are a bit pricey the food is always great.

Only the best place for peri peri prawns in Durban. We've been frequenting this place for at least 8 years now and the quality never fails to impress. Their gracious hostess - Starlene is always there to see that we receive only the best service and food. Naven is our waiter of choice, he knows exactly how we like our... More

After a hard day at the new Ballito Junction Regional Mall we finished up with a good supper at Beira Alta as recommended by the locals. The speciality was lovely-succulent chicken, prawns and stir-fry veg which went down well with a glass of the best.

Was once upon a time our favorite Restaurant in the area. However, recently they've become expensive! They do have an excellent peri peri sauce which goes exceptionally well with their wonderfully fresh Portuguese rolls. If you're a prawn lover and prepared to pay top dollar, they're hard to beat.

Although the food was fairly tasty, the restaurant was extremely noisy and the waiter n attendance was not always around when we needed him. Food choices are ordinary and good for a midday weekend meal.

The lunch specials are really great value, but that's not all they're about. The feel is classy/casual and the food never disappoints. Some of the best waiting staff for miles around.

We have been to Beira Alta on numerous occasions. It is by far my favorite restaurant and will go there without thinking twice. Food is absolutely amazing. There is always consistency which is key in any restaurant.Staff is friendly and the setup is very welcoming.
