Great-tasting food for a very small price. My hosts told me that the prices had recently increased, which I found shocking because the current prices were so low. Highly recommend the burger.

We ate here on 2 different days for a mid afternoon meal and although they were a bit busy they were relatively quick to get our very delicious meals. All three of us were very pleased with all that we had and the pleasantness of the wait staff too.

I got a delicious chicken burger for a mid afternoon meal and it was great and affordable! Would also recommend one of the milkshakes or a beer on a hot day!

After the fantastic experience I had at the cattle baron in skukuza in November I simply had to go back in December to eat the delightful calamari again. Much to my disappointment there was no calamari. No mushrooms and the main meal I ordered was utterly revolting. An overcooked piece of week old chicken on a plate. I will not... More

Lovely place to grab a quite bite - their pizza's were lovely and the rest of the food looked great too.

Stopped here in Feb 2012 and loved the food and atmosphere. Made a special trip to Skukuza to show overseas visitors the resturant, only to find it closed until further notice. Quite disappointed!

We were honestly surprised to find a restaurant with such a nice setting in a rest camp! The food is absolutely ok and a great change from the other restaurant’s menu, I personally recommend the lemon chicken kebab and the Amarula Crème Brulee. But what you should really look forward to is the setting: They use the old station and... More

We just loved this place - I've never eaten next to a steam train on a railway platform before. The manageress, Terry Sue, had this place well sorted - great food well presented by attentive, pleasant staff. I just wish she could be allowed to sort all the other restaurants in the park. We had two courses each, two drinks... More

We'd eaten in the main Skuzuza restaurant the night before which was pretty bland. It was so nice to come here, sit in the amazing platform and soak up the atmospehere. The drinks are well priced and the kids meals are decent. What made the meal for us (in a large group) was the most amazing pork belly dish. I've... More

I travel frequently and always love to find a gem like the Selati Station. It is set in the last remaining train station of the now defunct Selati Line, which once took wealthy travelers from Johannesburg to the Kruger National Park. Considering how horrible the food is elsewhere in the park, this restaurant is a wonderful respite. It has a... More
