This bar is located in the Twelve Apostles Hotel and has both and inside area and an outside area (a balcony). You need to book! For years we have just arrived and it has never been an issue but this time we needed a reservation otherwise you cannot even park in the garage. We had an issue initially because despite... More

We popped into the leopard bar for a drink and to enjoy the view. The view on the balcony is absolutely stunning. We finished our first drink and enjoyed the view so much that we decided to order another drink. However, we had to wait for ages for a waiter to notice us. Eventually we got someone's attention and we... More

We just wanted to have a drink on the balcony. After a long 20' wait, since no one seemed to have noticed our presence, I called twice for a waited. They both ducked and dived. Strange... Eventually got one. After another 15' we got our order. Well at least for 2 of us, since the third cocktail wasn't what we... More

We dropped off some guests who checked in at the hotel and were invited for lunch. It was a stunning Cape Town summer's day with temperatures approaching 30 deg C. I ordered a cold beer on tap and received a beer at room temperature - how disappointing! The beer was replaced with a cold one without any fuss. Everything else... More

Glamorous bar with stunning ocean views and a wonderful selection of cocktails. Live jazz band adds to the ambience of glamour a la Joan Collins

My husband and I stayed at the Twelve Apostles during our vacation to South Africa. Every evening, no matter how tired we may have been from that day's adventures, we always stopped in the Leopard Bar for a night cap. What a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere and if it's still light outside, great view of the ocean. A few times... More
