We had a wonderful dinner at Cafe Sofia - the menu is incredible, and makes you want to go back again and again, just to try their different dishes.

The food was first class. The deco was still Christmas...not bad... but in March? Still, I would choose to eat there again!

Really bad, dishes were not how they were described on menu at all. One dish did not come so we complained and the manager shouted at the waitress in public. Not cool. We were making a complaint against the place not trying to get the waitress in trouble. Lamb kebabs were raw inside and I did not get the red... More

Cafe Sofia in Big Bay has been the worst culinary experience I've EVER had! Being a lover of spanish tapas, I was bitterly disappointed at the quality of the food, and the tasteless dishes served. Service was slow and some of the dishes we ordered were not available because "the kitchen hadnt started preparing the next batch"!!!!

Cafe Sofia is okay, their food is nothing amazing and the breakfast is cheap though but basic. I think they are a bit pricey for the standard kind of food they have to offer.

Cafe Sofia: Blaauwberg: What a heartache this must be for such a beautifull setting of our beautifull Cape Town!!Went there on 03/10/12 after a beautifull walk on the beach with family visiting. What we hoped would be turned out to be a treat turned out to be actually a horror. Don't bother ordering the tapas as this is so little... More

It's a shame. Every Cafe Sofia I've visited has had amateur waiters, greasy bitter coffee and never has a majority of items available. You might be lucky as the prices are reasonable but you're better off almost anywhere else. Finally, don't feel bad about walking out as it happens a lot.

We visited the cafe Sofia in blouberg beach on a Sunday lunchtime.... so it is winter but that is no excuse for such indifferent service, very mediocre food etc! The three of us agreed to share the 20 tapas however as we went through the menus we were told that practically everything out of the approx 25 choices were not... More
