I love this restaurant. Fantastic ribs. They also offer other great dishes but I came here twice during my vacation.

I love cafe paradiso because of the kids stations. They can decorate cupcakes, make cookies and pizza! It's a real treat for the kids when they also get to enjoy going out to a restaurant.

As staying nearby I popped in & booked dinner for Easter Sunday and requested an outside table as such a hot day. When we arrived we were told the outside table reserved for us was in the smoking area and because we have children we...More

Ideally this restaurant is best on a sunny day so that you can enjoy the stunning views of Table Mountain, but even at night it has great charm & some people were braving the cooler evening weather to sit in the garden outside. The menu...More

Outdoor and indoor seating. Food decent - kids enjoyed their chicken pesto. Belly pork a tad dry. Probs better places in Cape Town no doubt, but as a casual place for lunch it was fine.

Cafe Paradiso is in the charming Tamboerskloof area of Cape Town. Every dish we tried (we must have gone to dinner 5 times in 5 days!) was delicious. And the steak with the chocolate sauce is to die for!! Really good wine list. Waiters can...More

Our first visit to this restaurant for lunch. We had a lovely shaded table on the veranda and enjoyed a smoked salmon bagel with a glass of chenin blanc. Service was excellent and we had a enjoyable and relaxing lunch.

We were looking to go to dinner on our last night in Cape Town and found a table here. We shared the Ostrich, because, you know, we had to before we left. The service was ok, the ostrich was well prepared, but a little tough....More

They had lots of kids activities inside. No reason to think that Sunday would be excluded, but don't know for sure.

Established by the inimitable Freda, Cafè Paradiso immediately set the bar for local cuisine and, from its inception, introduced us to a variety of dishes and ingredients seldom before experienced locally. Loving the idyllic setting and the warm ambience, Capetonians eagerly tucked into exotic and ‘foreign’ fare such as tzatziki, dolmades and babaganoush as well as the delicious country-style dishes which emanated from Paradiso’s bustling kitchens. Joined by three more formidable women, Laurille, Lynn and Mapula, Frieda and her team remained the heart of city trading with a lineage of values forming the foundation of this amazing establishment.
