We went there while wandering around De Waterkant. The area is really nice to explore. We saw this cute place and gave it a try. Such a good idea :) Croissant was yummy, coffee tasty and service very good. The owner was very friendly as well and we had an amazing time there. Felt like home. Will definitely go back!

A cute french cafe with warm people, this is how i will describe this cafe. Though every service takes definitely around 15 mins to arrive but the food is good. The decor is also nice. The cafe sells some souvenirs which are really good and unique.

My friend and I tried to go to this restaurant which looked nice, with a nice terrace for dinner a few days ago... There were a lot of people but there were still a few tables available. When we arrived and asked if they had a table for two, the man who greeted us and who seemed to be the... More

As the owner I can only reply that i am shocked in my shoes, I am frequenting as many CT restaurants as I can and mostly be prepared on a busy time wait from 30 min to 45 min for starters to come out when the food is prepared by a chef and not a cook . I have a... More

I've been there with some friend to have dinner but as for what I saw on the menu and the ambient, I would highly recommend it for breakfast, lunch or an afternoon tea. The place is very cozy and I think that during the day you must have a really great view. Everything was delicious but I loved their carrot... More

Wow! One of the true gems we found is hidden behind a few trees right in Cape Town. Following the great opinions, we went in to get something for take-away. Had we not been under pressure to hit a walking tour, we would definately recommend a stay in the charming cafe. We were greeted by the charming and charismatic owner,... More

Quaint little gem next to Cafe Manhattan - delicious South African-aligned food with a bit of glam thrown in. Superb cocktails and deserts as well. Every time we come to Cape Town we make sure to stop here for a quiet romantic date-night. Support local / small genius business like these guys!

This was our second visit to La Petite Tarte. On both occasions we left the restaurant feeling really happy and impressed. The whole experience was wonderful. I had the quinoa salad, it was very fresh and delicious. My husband had the quiche and salad and it was equally delightful. We shared a piece of carrot cake, which tasted as if... More
