The food market offers some good choices to eat in or take away. We ate curry which was good. We wish we'd discovered the market sooner. We spent time gift shopping in the other market. Some things were cheaper than the same stuff on the street stalls

When your wife has been infected by the V&A retail frenzy, find this place, grab your favourite snack and drink combo and take a seat. If you can't find something you like then you don't like food. When my domestic goddess found me, I soothed her with a fruit smoothie that she declared to be the best, fruitiest smoothie she... More

We found a delicious ostrich meat roll up and vegan roasted veggie wrap that seemed to be the best thing since sliced bread. There is everything here. One of us tried Samp and chicken stew- healthy and delicious and great coffee on organic muesli. Wow we returned for another lunch. It is next to Nobel square and there are outside... More

If you are in the V&A Waterfront, you definitely need to visit the market. My wife and I enjoyed the excellent food options. We especially enjoyed the craft beer selection!

Apr 27: On our visit to V&A waterfront, got to know about the Market on the Wharf. This is a food court with a difference. There are all mom and pop kind of outlets serving different kinds of food, desserts and coffee. There are tables for people who want to eat there. This gave a feel of a market as... More

Went here for lunch and what I liked was the variety, my wife doesn't care for Thai or Indian but here I could get the food I want and she gets what she wants, plus you can finish it off with Gelato!

We had 3 separate course meal at the market with a bottle of delicious wine here all bought from different stalls. We sat outside and listened to a musician and it was a great experience. There are so many different types of fresh food and drink at cheap prices. Try it for something different. Free wi fi to book your... More

My children did not want to be tied down to a chair and table in one of the restaurant much to my dismay. I suggested we go to the Market on the Wharf and I am very pleased we did! The lamb fold over great was great. there is pizza at the top but the service is slow and unfriendly... More
