Really enjoyed our meal. Lamb kebabs and beef shwarma. Lamb had a wonderful flavour but did not enjoy the beef as much. Meze was delicious as was the fresh grilled pita. Great service. They do take cards however the propitiator has a small sign suggesting cash FYI.

The worst meal in Cape Town by far. Left most of it. The wine is terrible too. Nothing positive apart from my can of beer!! I should have realised by the standard of decor!

It had been 25 years but Aris is still there and still doing a great souvalaki. We ate there sitting on the street. The garlicky sauce was so good.

We have been coming to this restaurant for 30 years, although it has moved further down Sea Point, to the smarter side. This is a no-nonsense eatery where the souvlakia is always consistent. Go upstairs where it is quieter and if it is a hot evening, ask to sit on the balcony and watch Sea Point go by.. bring your... More

Bland Food and clearly in need of some attention. The food is as best "Bland" I had to ask the cook to PLEASE stop with the oil. The only garnish I was offered in a Shwarma was tomato and Tsastiki... no lettuce, onions or anything else.

Looking for something a bit different, we headed into Seapoint, hungry for some Greek cuisine. Aris' did not disappoint! Although the restaurant is basic and a bit dated, the atmosphere is authentic, the staff terrific and the food definitely worth a visit. The menu is quite small and we missed having traditional dishes such as Greek Lamb shanks or Moussaka... More

Nothing great about the food, menu or restaurant. Best part was the music and it is cheap - But you get what you pay for.

We were a little disappointed with our last visit in this small restaurant mainly frequented by locals. The bread was not good and so was also the chicken in the souvlaki. Frozen chicken was unfrozen in the microwave... ok we are not in a 3 star place but at least could they use more fresh food instead ?

Ari's Souvlaki has been around for ages. While it was always slightly "rough and ready", it had a certain charm and was fun. My wife and I were staying in Sea Point and wanted a quick meal and so we walked around the corner to Ari's. While it still looks the same, the atmosphere has changed. The place was almost... More

Decent Meze plate but the Shwarma was dry and bland. It has a few small tables but the food just doesn't cut it for a middle eastern place.
