Always enjoyed this quaint eatery before, but not again. Service diabolical, everything we asked for they didn't have, and had to search to find the salmon on my salad. Finally paid at the bar as got tired of waiting. Could see why it was so quiet.

Haas is my "go to" breakfast spot! Love the decor and ambience. The manageress is lovely and always makes sure I get a spot no matter how busy it gets. My favourite it the professor (egg white omelette) with added salmon.

This place is so delicious! The artwork, furnishing and interiors are something to be admired. The food is also tops, a bit different and the coffee is really lovely. Next time I'm coming for the Friday burger special.

I was told about Haas by a good friend. I decided to try it for myself with my family. As you know families usually have dogs. Before entering we asked if our dog may accompany us into the the restaurant and we were told yes. We sat down there came the manageress asking a server to ask us to leave...... More

Today I visited your bistro leaving terribly disappointed with your service after being a regular at Haas for the last two years. I was met by a very friendly waiter who attempted to make myself and my partner feel very welcome, however the manageress left us feeling quite unwelcome. With such tight competition in Cape Town, may I suggest some... More

Food, mese platter was decent. Wine was delicious but portion half size what you are get used to have in ZA but I got a bar fly in my wine. Kitchen stuff wearing jewelries, especially huge ring is that what you don't want to see. Very average restaurant. Given another chance? Probably not.

First off... Lets start by saying that the entire venue was actually very very good!! Especially that they sell the WORLDS STRONGEST coffee!!! Now I didn't have the opportunity to taste the coffee, they were sold out... But I bought the beans they sell and I'm going to try them when I have arrived home!! The decor was pleasant, and... Met family at Haas on a sat morning. Interior of coffee shop is really lovely and cozy. Breakfast was great, we all enjoyed. Would've liked a freshly squeezed juice though

I arrived from Joburg and the venue was sort of easy to find - thanks to a kind official at the District Six Museum. Fabulous venue and friendly staff yet my mint tea was horrible - cold and too intense. The lemon arrived but no honey. The croissant with cheese and preserve was an over baked sandwich - not my...
