We ordered a lasagne with fries and a chicken with fries. The fries were smothered in salt - why would they not allow customers to put salt on to their own liking. The chicken was the size of a pigeon and overcooked. They excelled themselves with the lasagne as it was the most disgusting piece of stodge I have ever... More

We looked forward to a nice pasta and pizza with a glass of wine at the Waterfront. While the pasta was good, the pizza was terrible and not crispy and not at all what you expect from an Italian restaurant. The service was good though but as many restaurants at the Waterfront, they turn tables quickly so it's just eat... More

Nice little restaurant for lunch or coffee or people watching. Bring a jacket if it is cold as most of this restaurant is outside. Good choice of pizzas and the like.

The food was tasty and presentation was good, looked as good as it tasted. A lovely meal to start off 2017, the only concern is that R310 for 2 breakfasts and a coffee and a juice is a little high. You can get amazing breakfasts in Cape Town for a better price, our waiter was friendly and attentive. Will try... More

San Marco restaurant is at V&A waterfront, right outside wharf mall. The pizzas and pastas taste very good and the prices are reasonable. It offers very nice views of the waterfront and is an excellent place for a relaxing afternoon.

After wondering around V&A Waterfront deciding were to eat, we found this beautiful Italian. Not sure why people are moaning about the service, I thought it was fantastic from start to finish. The first time we came here we were sat next to a family of 12 who had young kids so we asked if we could move to somewhere... More

Let's start from the misspelled menu! There are many dishes misspelled, there are no Italians working in this restaurant to me it authentic at all. Seafood pizza was drenched in a think sauce. Veal was terrible. The worst was salmon penne, with more pesto and pine nuts than pasta itself. It is the worse food I have ever had! These... More

Food was worse than cat food. Service no existent. I had to go looking for a waiter, even to pay I had to chase them. My hungry child wouldn't even eat his food, and he's really not fussy

I don't think I will be back. The glasses the waiter brought for water smelt of alcohol . Please wash the glasses correctly and do not just recycle. The food was bland but edible.
