Old world charm.... With building dating back to 1834! The waiter Jeffrey inherited all the charm and is part of the furniture... We were there for a drink and a snack and were pleasantly surprised. We had nice, warm weather and sat outside. Goog food and good service. What more do you want?

been there a few days ago for dinner. Unique place with very friendly staff and people-these make 60% of the atmosphere there. Food nice and reasonable pricing, sitting outside and beeing surrounded by nice people also very appreciated. Value ok, alles in Butter...! 😏

Situated in a historical building, you get the feeling you are in an English pub. The food, though is better than the average English pub. Fast, friendly service, and a nice terrace to sit outside. Inside very cosy in winter. Try their various home made pies!

nice setting. Much better in summer, when one can sit outside under the large trees. A favourite amongst the locals. Be early. No reservations.

On the same grounds as the Belvedere Hotel in Knysna, you will find this quaint little German Pub with its typical german dishes. We just loved the atmosphere so much we decided to stay and have an early dinner there.

Hi folks, if you're in the area (Knysna in general) don't miss the Bell in Belvedere. It is quaint and set in the most tranquil place, enjoy a walk before your meal! Geoffrey & other staff are a treat.

Had to visit there again. Beautiful setting. Historical interest. Great food, The service just needs to be quicker. Food comes from the Hotel kitchen and takes a LONG time to get to you,

If you are passing-by Knysna and missed going to this small pub then, according to us, your visit is absolutely incomplete. The food here is Moth-watering and totally satiates your hungry soul that yearns for good food. Of all those things we had here we loved Crab Cakes and Durban Lamb Curry the Most. Other than this, the Prawns and... More
