Was spoilt for our anniversary at Noop after a recommendation by a Paarl local. Lovely ambiance, good waiter and beautiful food. Very good Pierre Jordan MCC and a fruity, crispy sauvignon blanc. Highlight of the evening was the amazingly flavoured Cape Malay Seafood Curry Soup! Could have had it for mains too. Seafood risotto was also wonderful. This chef works... More

A well balance menu with steak specials which are fantastic. One of the best in the cape winelands which is an area renown for good food. Location is on Main street but the food more than makes up for the lack of a view.

The evening we spent here was lovely. Recommended by our hostess at the Guest House we were staying at. The service was great, the waiter was attentive and advised us on some of the dishes. The food was good, but as often the portions were often too large for me, but my husband often gives a helping hand here. The... More

An excellent meal from an excellent menu and a cool break from a hot day. I will return to this restaurant and suggest it to other people. Better than anywhere we ate in Franschoek.

My mother and I came for dinner and absolutely loved every part, from our seating to our leaving was outstanding. The food is amazing, my mother had the salmon main and I had the lamb. Our waitron "Jay Jay" who made sure we are well taken care of sold us on the dessert too. The chocolate brownie with chocolate moose... More

We sat outside for a late lunch. It was not too hot, so very pleasant to sit outside. Gathered after our school reunion (only three of us). We had great service and all chose to eat the same salad. It was very delicious, well presented and tasty. Sparkling wine on the ice and coffee afterwards were our libations. We had... More

Description
Welcome to Noop. We hope you feel at home here, because that is how we think of our restaurant. After all, we spend more time here than we do at our homes. Our beautiful heritage building breathes warmth and hospitality. We know many of our guests by name; some of them have become our friends. As for us, we were customers before we became owners. Noop was established in 2005, and we had an affinity for the restaurant when we took it over in 2012. It's still as popular with returning locals as it is with visiting tourists, and we've kept everything people love about it while also making it our own. There's plenty for you to choose from, and we're sure that you'll find something you like. The meals are all fresh and so is the inspiration on our specials board. If you have special requests, we'll try our best to accommodate them. Whatever you order, you can enjoy it knowing that we make the same kind of food here as we do at home. Unpretentious. Often spontaneous. Always delicicious.
