With wonderful views of the river and a very good service, this is a great option for a lunch or dinner. It seems to be more expensive, but the dishes are big and you can even divide them because the side dishes are amazing: great fries, tasty rice and good salad.

Fabulous setting, fabulous service, lovely food - would recommend to all. Staff went the extra mile to explain the menu and the wine list is extensive. We just turned up and had to wait so advice is to book.

It was an amazing experiente to spend New Year's in this restaurant. Welcoming service, wonderful food, fine wine list... Not cheap, but completely worth it! I hope to go there again.

We where a table of 20, booked in advance and had a great meal in the terrace with a great view. The food was very good and the service was perfect. Very good wine list as well Since it's a restaurant outside of the city, it's definetly worth the detour. I believe that in a sunny day, it will be... More

Has parking which is always nice, great view, great food, great staff, got recommended a nice wine, they didn't just try to sell me the most expensive wine, the only negative aspect was the time it took for the good to get to the table, but if you're not in a hurry even that time is great to sample some... Ok, so we stayed in this area for 5 days and we saved this restaurant for our last dinner and also a special occasion. Maybe because the expectations were high, we're really disappointed. The view is great, the environment is very tasteful, but the prices are too high and the food wasn't better than in other much cheaper places. Also... More

This restaurant is not far from Tomar, where we had visited the Knights Templar Castle. It is very nicely furnished inside (cosy) and has a great view over the dam/river. The food is very local/Portuguese, so if you like that, then this restaurant is for you. Personally, I find the local food a bit boring and lacking in sophistication. Great... More

I took a friend here in July as a treat for her last night in Portugal. The restaurant has a wonderful setting overlooking the Castelo do Bode and the interior is very well presented. As an establishment that caters for foreign visitors it would be a very good idea to have multilingual menus. We ordered the filet mignon (off menu)... More

What lovely view across the lake, absolutely fabulous. But, you will pay for it. I thought the prices were quite high for Portugal even though this restaurant is definitely aimed at tourist. We stopped at about 2:00pm (they close at 3:00pm until the evening). The lady was very excited to show us around and is clearly very enthusiastic, with every... More
