This restaurant serves nice food such as fish, squid and pork dishes. Prices are very reasonable as well. Worth a try.

We parked close by and passing by looked at dishes of day. They looked good and reasonable prices. Topical Portuguese homely style. Very basic but just what we like. There were local people in there always a good sign. Our choice of dishes were scabbard fish and fish stew. Great quality with some tasty local red wine. Friendly service. Well... More

According to me the restaurant is too much "fake" with its medieval aspect, however we had a fantastic cataplana soup, very tasty and full of fish. The staff was very kind.

This restaurant was recommended by hotel staff and was worth walking beyond the main square and some of the closer and busier eating places. We ate the speciality dish, veal in witch's sauce, which was absolutely divine. The service was friendly and attentive. Make sure to leave space for one of the excellent desserts - all homemade and quite delicious.

This neighborhood eatery seems popular with both local businesspersons as well as tourists. The atmosphere is bright, modern and classy with subtle rustic touches. Tables are fitted with tablecloths and cloth napkins. The staff was exceedingly professional and friendly. Prices are more than fair even though the atmosphere seemed to dictate a higher cost establishment. I took a table for... More

We stopped for lunch after visiting the convent while passing through Tomar. It was a quiet day and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to us and our four-year old. Their English was as bad as our Portuguese, but the menu is bilingual, so ordering was easy. Our favourite meals were the sweet and delicious tagines, which made for... More

As a regular weekend visitor to the local restaurants I can easily say that the Infante is one of the best we go to. I can only think of one other restaurant that changes its menu regularly with the majority basically offering traditional local food. Try the Javali (wild boar) with chestnuts or my favourite medallions of pork with fig... More

Visited this restaurant for a lunch today. Very good experience. Clean, friendly, good and fast service. Very taste. To be honest, I'm not a fun of Portugal culinary... sorry, BUT, this place I can recommend. They serve great local sardines, good red and white wine, coffee, etc... Very decent price. Highly recommended. Enjoy!
