Salgado is both a place to buy pasta and to eat. It is a pretty rustic place currently being attended by bohemian people in Buenos Aires. Food is very good. I went there twice for pasta and enjoyed the most basic ones: Spaghetti with tomato....More

I do not know how this restaurant has so many good reviews. The place is ugly and the food was just above average. The veal ravoili dish had a pizza flavored tomato sauce and too much mozzarella cheese on top. Some reviewers say that the...More

The food was good (although mine was not hot enough), ambiance is great but super tight, not much space at all! Go early to get a table.

This is the place for an authentic Argentinean meal. A huge serving of homemade pasta, a superb milanesa napolitana...like eating at grandma's. This is the place to go when you feel like just eating, no fancy fusion...just a hearty meal. We adopted as the place...More

We have eaten in some pasta places. From the ones we visited in Buenos Aires, this one is, by far, the best one regarding cost-price. Great food by a very fair, rather cheap, price.

This was my favorite spot during my six weeks in Buenos Aires. It is off the tourist track, but the food is worth it. My favorite was the cheddar ravioli with shallots and mushrooms. I highly recommend it!

I used to go to this place a few years ago, then I decided to go back recently and I was unpleasantly surprised. It still had a line of people waiting... but the quality went down hill. I do not think I will go back....More
