What I want to highlight from this restaurant is the service. From the moment we stepped in they treated us very well. They served us some delicious empanadas, then we ordered a parrillada for two, which was ok, it came with chorizo, green saldad and desert. Even though the parrillada was for 2 it is more than enough for 3... More

Great food, moderate price, big menu. Many different cuts of meats, salads, pastas...etc. Open pit at the entrance of restaurant makes it look very appealing. Waiter don't speak much English .

It was my 2nd visit to "La Estancia" and it was as good as the first one. The meat (lomo) was awesome - tender, tasty and cooked exactly the way we wanted. Good, efficient service. Convenient location - close to our hotel. Highly recommended!

Vegetarians should keep well away as this restaurant is all about meat. To the left of the main entrance is a huge grill while to the right all sorts of meats are barbequed round a charcoal fire. We chose a Turística mixed grill for two and were presented with a mini barbeque piled with enough meat to feed at least... More

This wasn't the best place we went to in BA but it was fine. The service was great but we got there early. It's a huge place so I wonder what it would be like when full. The food was good but as with so many BA BBQ places only pumpkin as a veg.

The food was awesome. The sirloin steak (rare) was so tasty and tender. The waiter was the friendliest we have seen in BA. The surroundings were authentic. Would recommend This place. My husband wanted a good steak in Argentina and here you get it. Excellent value for money.

We ate here on our last night purely because this style of restaurant does not exist back home. Again, we overlooked that you need to order one piece of meat for two to share as quantity seems always to prevail in Argentina. We had a good meal and wine having discussed with the waiter prior to ordering. Enjoyable evening overall... More

Meat was good, but felt like I was dining at a cafeteria and not a steakhouse. Better values to be had elsewhere

Regretfully we were told by our hotel to eat at La Estancia close to the Obelisko. We wanted to try a good Argentinian steak. My friend and I ordered a petit filet (250 oz). What the waiter brought for us instead was a 500 oz very tough sirloin. The waiter said they made a mistake and grilled a double portion... More

If you want authentic Argentinian food, you have to try La Estancia. This is the place where locals eat. They serve all kinds of grilled meat and the price is very reasonable. Be sure to order the meat rare or medium rare; otherwise, they tend to be overcooked. The restaurant is located on Lavalle, a few blocks from main boulevard... More
