I returned to Zum Edelweiss after a 10-year absence, and found the beautiful antique wood panelling, stained glass trim, inviting and warm. The staff immediately welcomed me and, upon my choosing a table, delivered glasses of dry sherry, compliments of the house. Delightful. The food...More

Had the most fantastic beef called "Entraña" tender and delicious. The only problem was that the accompaniment of pickled aubergines was off and the waiter did not offer an alternative, he just took it away and notified the chef. My mother had a most delicious...More

This is timeless classic, very traditional, particularly for late eating after the theatre. Dishes are plentiful and with very good quality. The gratin ravioli are just lovely

I went with friends before going to the theatre ( it is open for very early dinner). The food was good, beer excellent, service great and the ambiance is vintage German restaurant. They even bring the butter in little curls like they did before.
