When in Argentina you need to eat meat. This place is in the Puerto Madeira area and is therefore by nature a little more expensive because of the area. We wanted to give our family a treat and had a meal there. They offered a set menu for lunch which included a starter, entree, desert as well as wine. the price... More

Really nice place by the water, we recieved great service aswell. My "bife de chorizo" was very nice; cooked to perfection, and the meat of very good quality as it usually is in Argentina.

The New York steak was up to some U.S. steakhouse standards, but not well flavored, juicy or tender. I would skip this place in the heart of Buenos Aires trendy zone.

Good food, good service, and as it is in Porto Madero you also will enjoy a good meal. Not big variety of beer and the only odd thing to me was that they brought me some bread and sauce (I thought it was courtesy), but they charged. Not a big deal but I could be told beforehand.

This place is popular with tour groups, so we had low expectations. However, the food was superb and the service very attentive. The empanadas were the best we've ever had.

There were ten at our table. Most raved about their food, but I can only review on what I was served. So here goes. We started with a decent carrot salad brought in a single dish for two people to share. Next came an okay beef empanada--I call it okay because we had many empanadas after this night and most... If you want a unique dining experience in Buenos Aires, try this place. It has a fabulous location on the water with an old sailing ship just outside the back door. The food is superb, and the service is great. What more can you ask for?

We were forced to take this restaurant as we were a group of 9 people looking to go for dinner on what ended up being Valentine's Day. Service was average and wine was not sold by the glass which was a little strange. Food was pretty good and can recommend it. After meal espresso was really bad. Reasonable value for... More

We came for dinner with a large group of people (25). This restaurant is large and able to accommodate parties of this size. We were all served their fixed price meal (410 pesos) that included an meat empanada appetizer, grilled steak with salad and French fries and ice cream for dessert. Wine and water also came with our meal. Our... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighbourhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
