We throughly enjoyed La Cucccina de Michele, and more to the point, the preparation of the sauces that accompany the pasta dishes. The Chef, who also happens to be the owner, was specially gracious with his suggestions. La Cuccina is certainly worth a detour¡

A small intimate restaurant in an unassuming location... Once inside brace yourself, you won't be able to stop eating. The Pasta is always fresh, the sauces are incredible and the owner, Michele is right there cooking and sharing his opinion as to what Pasta is best on any given day and then watch as he himself cooks it for you... Although Buenos Aires has a strong italian influence, is not that easy to find real traditional italian food, at a reasonable price. La Cucina de Michele is an excellent choice if you want to enjoy pasta at its best, and other well cooked italian dishes. A nice detail is that they serve your order of pasta in two dishes, one... Excellent pasta at pretty high prices. Very nice place if you sit in the main dinning room not so if you are sent to the back or upstairs. Fettuccini arrabiata here is the best in town, the portion is very generous and they even bring a side dish with some extra. It is a great option for a simple and... More

We were there two times, as we stayed in a hotel quite close to this restaurant. Each time we had a great pasta. The service was fantastic, and the restaurant is very cozy and romantic. Very good for a dinner for two. Decent prices. Very recommendable!

I know what good homemade pasta is and this restaurant serves it! The cheese filled noquis are out of this word and the ham and cheese agnolottis are sinful. The dinning room has character and it is nice to see the owner finishing the dishes in the middle of the salon. Service is cold to the point of almost rude... More

I've been to Italy, I've eaten italian in NY. To my amazement the best pasta I've ever eaten: La cuccina di Michele in Buenos Aires. Go there, you won't regret it.

My husband and I went here for a treat and we were not disappointed. We went for the special set menu which started with the antipasti buffet which was gorgeous (I have uploaded a photo). Then we were given the first pasta which was a pasta shell stuffed with pork in a pesto sauce which was so tasty, the second... More

This is a five star dinner in Buenos Aires! Restaurant is very nice, is kind of old but that gives it the special touch, you feel as if you were in your grandmothers living rooom and dinner table, everything is covered in dark wood, with good ambient lights, and right in the middle of the restaurant a small kitchenette were... Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
