We chanced upon this Vegan restaurant while on vacation in Buenos Aires. The food was outstanding. Neither I nor my husband are vegans or vegetarians but that didn't affect our enjoyment of the experience. We dined in a tiny courtyard of a private house, met some other travellers and residents and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The food was presented so... More

This was not only one of the best vegetarian meals I have ever had but one of the best all-around restaurant experiences ever. The owners and staff were muy amable, the food was great, the atmosphere warm, intimate, and even spiritual. We went on the night of New Year's Day and Maximo gathered all the guests together for a special toast.... I'd never tasted vegan food before I went to Kensho with my sister who is vegan. It was such a surprise how much they can create just using vegan materials, I was amazed! We enjoyed a lovely three course meal, the service was great as well as the atmosphere, definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone who's in for trying something... More

Having read the reviews on here we were expecting good things. However, the food was uninspiring. Somehow, despite being vegan, the 'gnocci' managed to be fatty and too rich. The tabbouleh was just a cold bowl of quinoa with little bits of raw cabbage, apple and carrot in it- the 'falafel' accompaniment was ONE little rabbit turd wiped in1/2 a... More

Vegan. Organic. Those two words conjure up images of bland food and hippy fayre - right? Kensho however is nothing short of a Foodie's paradise. Their tasting menu at $200 ARG seems a little steep but represents excellent value for money. A fine, inventive menu was accompanied by a jug of fantastic mint & ginger lemonade and a bottle of... Dined at Kensho last evening as recommended by my daughter. Fine, unique and delicious vegan dishes. We ordered a risotto, a pasta (in phyllo) and a hamburger (of course, not meat). Everything was fantastic. I bought two jars of vegan preserves....Yum

The more I try vegetarian options, the more I love it. Going to Kensho was a great food experience: tasting, healthy and vegetarian. I really recommend going there for the food. The downsides were: the place itself needs to be refurbished and service is poor.

We dined at Kensho on a Thursday evening, one of the popular dining nights in Buenos Aires. The service was personal and attentive. The somellier was great. We had one of the best wines fo our entire trip (try the Carignan). The food was simply delicious and very well presented. Highly recommended for an alternative to the plethera of parilla... More

The food ranged from good to absolutely delicious. It was a very pleasant surprise (and change of pace) to find such a good vegan restaurant in BA!

Came here without knowing that it was a Vegan restaurant! Why come all the way to Argentina to eat vegan when you should be eating steaks?! But after the licuardo (shake), which was very yummy, I started to feel better about this restaurant. The mushroom burger was better than I thought, and price was very reasonable. It can't compare to... More
