I was so happy to find this bakery selling fresh bread and empanadas, as well as other gluten free food. Found other places but had a few disappointments regarding lack of taste, etc. This joint has "cracked the code". The service could be a bit friendlier though.

It was great to find a restaurant that was gluten-free as I found it difficult in some spots in BA to communicate not eating wheat. I arrived between lunch and dinner service, yet they were very accommodating to make me a caesar salad with chicken. The salad itself was really good, but the croutons were hard as rocks. That was... I was expecting a shop with items freshly made, but most items are frozen and available to go. Maybe the muffins and dessert items are better, but since I don't eat sugar, I can't comment on those. I did try the empanadas, and they were disappointing. The dough was too bread, and the meat filling left a bad aftertaste. Furthermore,... More

How surprised I was to find that this spot was only on block from our hotel. It was a great opportunity to be able try the local specialities like empanadas and alfajores. Both were very good. My only disappointment was on my second day they could not heat up the empanadas because the microwave was broken and they had nothing... More

As a gluten-free traveler, you could imagine my surprise as I stumbled upon this place while walking around Palermo Soho. The desserts are delicious, especially the merengue de torta. The empanadas are excellent too. During my two week stay, I visited the CeliGourmet multiple times (and I don't normally repeat locations while on vacation). My husband who is not gluten-free,... We visited their bakery in Palermo Soho and enjoyed seeing so many gluten free choices including empanadas.

Yes I did say FRESH. All those people on a Gluten Free diet will know how difficult it is to get fresh GF bread. Coming from Australia GF is not a speciality food any more .... it is just in with everything else, pasta aisle will have wheat pasta, gourmet pasta and GF pasta all within the same section, no... Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
