I am a bit leary of an Indian restaurant with no discernible Indian people working there, and although the meal was fine, it lacked some of the distinctive Indian spices which we are used to in the US. To their defense, I think a lot of those spices are just not available in BsAs. It's was not bad, but calibrate... More

We were staying in the Palermo Soho section of Buenos Aires. Found this within walking distance. It turned out to be one of the best places to eat Indian food in Buenos Aires. Enjoyed our evening with great service. Would highly recommend this place to anyone interested in spicing up their dinner in Buenos Aires.

This restaurant prises in the internet excellent food and offers 20% discount so that people from Argentina can get a taste from the indian kitchen. We went (4 of us) and first wanted a Gin Tonic --> they did not have nor any other cocktail. Papadam were also not available, instead the brought small pieces of plain naan with 3... More

The worst and most tasteless Indian food I have ever eaten in over 35 years. The two completely differently dishes we had, contained the same sauce, which lacked taste and was far too salty. And an Indian restaurant that doesn't serve popadoms, I thought they were joking.

Nice place to go, good and fast service. The food is really good, well served on average prices. Some meals can be shared. Pepper medium level equals to top level for some people. Take care.

If you are missing spice after eating great local argentine food, then this is definitely the place to head too. We had the lamb sheekh kebabs, chicken biriyani and palak paneer. Food was promptly brought out, service was pleasant and the flavours were excellent. Really enjoyable meal. If you like your curries hot, tell the waitress.. as they tend to... More

We have been to this restaurant several times over the last few years and are Indians living in South America. I mention this so you are aware that Indian cuisine is not exotic to us and we are not easily impressed. The truth is, Taj Mahal can impress diners even if it were located in India. Consistency over the years... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
