This was a great little restaurant we found in a write up and booked it for our first night in Argentina. We were a little jet lagged but hungry nonetheless. Everything was fresh, presented well and made with love.

An unexpected find! Not fancy out doors signs. Nice and cozy restaurant with really welcoming, young and warm service. Good set of homemade bread while they bring the drinks! They read us the menu as if there weren't a written one. Original recipes with excellent...More

We had a couple of ordinary dinners in this neighbourhood , but on our last night read a description of Tilde and thought we would take a chance. Good decision! We were the only diners on a Saturday night but I will be surprised if...More

The place is really nice in many different ways. Even though it was quite empty when we got in, we had one of the nicest dinners ever, so do not be put off if its not crowded. The experience started with the menu, where all...More

We ate twice here, coming back for a birthday celebration, having enjoyed ourselves so much the first time. The empanadas are a delicious starter, and we had the lomo and gnocchi, both of which were delicious. The pear tart and chocolate volcano were amazing, and...More

I've been here for several times and every time was much better than the previous one! There are lot of typical argentinean dishes such as the famous sausage "chorizo" or an amazing piece of cow meat called "ojo de bife"(eye's beef). The desserts are also...More

This place was great. Intimate, well decorated, great food, and pleasant service. We will not miss it on our next trip. This place is what restaurants should be like. Family operated (mom and dad run it, son waits tables, Tilde name comes from grandma) and...More

As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires,
Montserrat is defined by the historical events that
took place there and the landmarks that have stood the

this connection to history: countless public
demonstrations have passed through this square, going
back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the
streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos

Description
Tilde was born from sharing the pleasure of good eating.
Tilde is the story of a family, of several generations, sharing traveling and cultures.

The story started this way, in this place, in Buenos Aires,, in San Telmo, in this Mexico street, which was the port and the refuge of customs.
Tilde was born from that meeting, daugther of inmigrants, ran these cobblestones, danced in milongas and tasted various cuisines. And as many stories, love and children came.

And so, one of her daughters, Patricia, spicies and herbs lover, curious and creative, lover of gastronomy, started Tilde, in honor of this mother -Clotilde- making gastronomic emphasis on a simple kitchen, personal and authentic.

Tilde is a culinary tribute, a living portrait- of this memory and this family-, that transcends time. Because we believe that cooking is transmiting emotions.

That aroma thas comes traveling in the air and survives in time, make us, her children, continue this proyect, restoring the soul of this cooking that explores the curiosity of traveling.

Today we invite you to this house that has its own soul.
We call it home.

Welcome.
