We were there two week ago and the food was very good. We came back yesterday and everything was just average not the same taste and not good at all. The ambiance is very peculiar ( Addams family style) but worth trying if you are in a lucky day.

The building is really nice. But the food is not as good as I was expecting. One of the waitresses suggests you what to have and if you order something different she complains a little bit. The cold buffet entrees were just fine and the tasting menu was just ok. The food did not taste much, and the warm dishes... More

The place is interesting, in an old palace house, but the atmosphere is not really nice or inviting: kind of run down. And the food: hard to describe how bad, but either dry, or bland, or just poorly prepared. Each dish worse than the one before. And the service was surly and generally slow. If you live in Buenos Aires... More

We celebrated on Friday a birthday party at this place. What a great surprise! The restaurant is on the second floor of a beautiful " use to be" palace house in the very sophisticated Recoleta neighborhood in Buenos Aires. The elevator is an antique, not very well kept but works! The chef of the restaurant is Abdallah. It only opens... More

Restaurant is located on the second floor of a beautiful building. Safe area. Showed up at 8:30 on a Thursday night and we were the only customers there. They offer a buffet of a wide assortment of cold dishes and you can order from a menu for hot dishes and desserts. Cost shows up on some trip journals as $$$$... More

A wide assortment of Arabic staples in a quiet Recoleta neighborhood. Restaurant opened at 8.45 PM and quickly filled up with locals.

Staying in Recoleta

Neighbourhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterised by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighbourhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centred on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
