2 blocks from our AirBnB in Palermo Soho. Was on the list of places we assembled prior to our 2-week visit. Did not disappoint. Off the beaten track, but well worth seeking out. Fried chicken was authentic and very well done. Gumbo was unworldly. I'm fan of gumbo and if you are, you know the variations on the theme are... More

Not in with all the other restaurants/bars it seems to be on a slightly less upmarket street, but it is worth the walk/search to find it. They specialise in craft beer and chicken and they do both really really well. It's a sort of dive bar in feel and is certainly not fancy in any way, but the food and... More

Was recommended fried chicken at this place but found the Gumbo even better! Great place for a Friday night get together but can be extremely noisy.

I have spent a lot of time in my life in New Orleans and my wife and i found this restaurant to be very authentic to the New Orleans and southern cuisine. We were very impressed. We got the cornbread, gumbo and chicken & waffles. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Great local spot to hand out with good... More

I have always wanted to try this place as it is many's favorite. I went for the beer, and it did not disappoint. There weren't a lot of choices to choose from, but I am was happy with what I tried. The only reason I am giving this place a 4 rather than a five is because of the food... More

A bici hipster joint in BA. The food was great, the beer was well done and the vibe was chill. We tried the fried chicken sandwich and chicken tenders. Since much of argentine cuisine is bland, it was really great to add some sauces to the chicken. Had wifi. We visited twice!

NOLA had been on my list for a while , and I finally got the chance to go. I was not disappointed in the quality. I had a really solid fire chicken sandwich, and they had several different sauces to try. I suggest you try them all before you load up the sandwich. Matched it with a craft beer from... More

Nola is within a short bike ride of my apartment and it is an ideal place to go with a friend to great something fried to eat and have a pint of beer. I especially like the mojellas. I would recommend this place to Argentines looking for southern-ish food and for foreigners looking for something different than the standard fair... More

We went in on Friday per suggestions of Fridays. We got beers and fried chicken and tried all the different sauces. Although something spicy in the cornbread set our mouths on fire, we went back on Monday to celebrate their 2 year anniversary. The owner is lovely. She remembered us and was really sweet.

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
