This is a small restaurant very close to Florida Street and we had an excellent meal here. I think we were feeling we had had enough red meat in Argentina so we both ordered salads which were absolutely delicious - the best salads we'd eaten in Argentina. Very friendly waitresses. Very buzzy place - there were queues waiting to get... More

Very good option to dinner! We share the meal but it was enough for two. It was very tasteful and the selection of wines was really good at a very reasonable price. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Deserts were incredible, altough presentation was not that good.

Feels like a students bar. Had a great dish - lomo dada. Steak with graten potatoes, really good and juicy. Ordered medium. Decent prices 320 pesos for the meal. Highly recommended

Had lunch here on my first day at BA. Was within walking distance from Sheraton where we were staying. Friendly and helpful waiter who helped with the translation of menu, wide range of dishes to choose from. Nice meal. It's a popular place for dinner, judging from the many people waiting outside the 3 times we walked past at night.

Despite being just off the the main tourist drag of Florida, this tiny bar and restaurant serves up good food, atmosphere and drinks and is almost entirely populated by locals. A good place to get a meal even if the atmosphere is a grade above a dive bar. Service is attentive and friendly and the place can get pretty full.

Friends went to DaDa and loved it but I didn't have the chance. The last day I was in BsAs, i was visiting a few places I'd missed and noticed on my map that I was just a few blocks from this restaurant. I knew it wouldn't be busy at 3 pm so I walked over. I was greeted by... More

Staying in Retiro

Neighbourhood Profile
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
