Where do I start? Delicious food - really amazing - and small wine tastings that are given by the in-house sommelier at your table. The three of us got the white, red and Argentinian tastings and between us sampled 9 wines. We were also greeted with a really lovely sparkling rose upon being seated and an amuse bouche. The atmosphere... More

I went here by chance as I was looking for a different restaurant on the same street, but couldn't find it. This was a happy turn of events as the food and service at Azafran were excellent. The steak in particular was mouthwatering.

Stay at Azafran was excellent. So many different wines and a sommelier is helping you for your choice. We tasted 3 argentinian wines during dinner, it was very good! The food was absolutely fantastic. Really enjoyed the time there.

Fantastic fine dining experience! The ambience is cozy and friendly with highly professional staff who selected a perfect wine for us. We especially enjoyed our ,cooked to perfection, filet. It was the best we had on our 17 day visit to Mendoza. If anywhere nearby, Azafrán is a MUST!

We went went for lunch and tried their 3-course set menu. Absolutely delightful food with different textures and tastes complimenting each other. Everything was plated well and it was a complete feast for all senses. We also tried some really good olive oil during the meal and ended up buying a couple of bottles for us to take back home.... We had a Fantastic Lunch, we were 12 in all and they had a great spot for us. I notice that they had a special room in the back for a small group of about 6 people. It a wine room and you sat and ate in the center of the room with all the wines around you. It was... More

This was our first fine dining experience in Mendoza, and we went here on the recommendation of Lucas at the Park Hyatt, and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked with excellent wines available for pairing.

Located on restaurant row in the third block west of Plaza Independencia, Azafran can be a little hard to find - no big sign, no tables on the sidewalk, no-one standing outside trying to encourage you to come in. It doesn't need any of those inducements. The décor inside is handsome, cluttered in a nice way, and rich in agricultural... More
