Good food and service, especially for Iguazu. We spent 3 nights in Iguazu, eating at different places every night. This was definitely the best both in the quality of the food and attractiveness of the room. They were able to accommodate my wife's gluten free diet.

La Toscana was recommended by the lodge we were staying in. It is attached to a small hotel, so we had a drink first next to their pool. The restaurant was also very busy and we definitely needed to have booked. As the name suggests, it is an Italian restaurant....strange until you learn that there is a huge Italian heritage... More

I did not expect such a high end upscale Italian restaurant in this small tourist town. It is truly as good as any restaurant in Rome or New York at a fraction of the price. You can see the fresh made pasta hanging in kitchen. Wine is great and the varied menu made go back twice. If you are in... More

The environment was nice and food was a good-enough true Italian style. Pasta with salmon was not that good, risotto was ok. Quality - price ok.

We ate dinner here one night while in Iguazu to see the falls. The food was very good and the wine great. Most of us ordered pastas while one had the lasagna. The lasagna looked particularly good and plentiful and it was proclaimed to be great. While what I received was good, penne with a meat sauce and mushrooms, was... More

This restaurant is ok but only average, whilst obviously aspiring to try to be something much better. The food is averagely ok. Nothing great, nothing poor. The surroundings are better than the food and much better than the service, with one or two exceptions. Poor staff service means poor management and average to poor experience. The only staff member here... More

Our recent dinner here was most enjoyable, I believe it is a family run restaurant and the attention to detail is of a very good standard. Smart waiting team, crisp white linen tablecloths, sparkling wine glasses and then comes their food, carpaccio of beef and antipasti to start, then we had their home made pasta I had the chef's choice... Special pasta dishes with flame charred cheese. Awesome. I had never seen someone take a blow torch to a large wheel of parmesan cheese, then placed fresh pasta on top then tossed in and blended.

Contrary to a couple of reviews here, our service at La Toscana was impeccable. The atmosphere was very attractive, the prices extremely reasonable, & the food was terrific. We did not expect to find such a gem in a small tourist town.
