Excellent meal - i had the venison goulash with spatzl which was delicious and good value at 180 pesos for what felt like a classy place. Great service - everyone was very friendly and smiley. Wine was delicious too. Great to find somewhere open on a sunday.
It's great to find a restaurant that opens at 7:30pm. Jauja is a little classier than most Bariloche restaurants, but without inflated prices. Well, you could get the 4,000p bottle of wine!! We had the Lomo at 295p. It came as 2 decent size delicious steaks. Maybe 300-350g. Also, the beef(carne)canelone at 160p and enough for 2 people. The grilled... More

The venison in malbec was rather sweet but we all enjoyed the degustación of desserts - a taste of 4 different puddings. The bill was rather steep but then, everything in Bariloche is rather expensive.... More

We got turned away from a restaurant nearby that our hotel recommended because it was fully booked out. So we started walking and came across this one. The range of food was excellent as were the prices and service. Codfish, Salmon, Trout, Chicken, Veal, Venison, Wild Boar, Grilled sausage, Sirloin steak, Lamb, Beef - Filet mignon, Pasta, Salads, range of... More
