My coke was not cold and I had to order ice... My hamburger was nothing special. The cheese was elastic and the meat very, very well-done. There are a huge number of better restaurants in Ushuaia. Personal was OK but they had nothing to do......More

Only stopped in for coffee, which was good. Wi-Fi is available and quick. Staff are friendly and speak English. The cafe is well located in the middle of town.

The service was good. Helpful. We had burgers and chips. The bread is different to what we are used to but very nice.

We managed to find this one open when no other restaurants were and it saved our lives. Nice people, warm place. Although life in Ushuaia is expensive, we were glad this place was open and we could get some food.

Ushuaia has an afternoon seista and many of of the shops close. This is one of the places that was open when we arrived in town hungry. The menu had safe sandwiches and fried items, but not the sort of things I generally eat if...More

Thank you very much for leaving a comment. It was hard, but those days that the whole city had power issues we tried to stay open, because we knew that many tourists were going to have inconveniences during their stay. It`s so nice to know...More

Description
Banana Cafe Bar is one of the first cafes in Uhsuaia with over 22 years serving islanders and tourists from all over the world. We have a rather typical menu for an Argentinian Cafe: coffees, local drafted beer, drinks, beef tenderloin sandwichs, breaded beef, pure breadcrum toasted sandwiches,Spanish Tortillas. What makes banana stand out is not the menu but the quality and flavor of the food, the size and our caring service. talking about the music, we only listen to Argentinian music, all styles: folk, pop, rock, reggae. We serve from 7 AM till 1 Am, and kitchen is open from 10 AM till 00:30 AM and till 1:30 on weekends.
