As with many, we were going to visit the museum and stopped in to get lunch. We liked the bean salsa (large portions) and really enjoyed the Shrimp Ceviche. One of our group tried the posole (a chili-type dish) -- it was good and hearty. I tried the Totopos con Queso and added peppers and onions. This is essentially a... More

We had a bowl of posole and the Spanish Market Tostada salad. The salad was nothing special but it was large. The posole was very flavorful and rich in ingredients - highly recommended.

We went to the Heard Museum today to see several art exhibits, but before had lunch in the Courtyard Café in the Museum. Two of our party ordered the Chicken Mole, one ordered a Po' Boy sandwich, and the fourth ordered a Dreamcatcher salad. Each entrée was very good.

We enjoyed our lunch after visiting this great museum and enjoyed our southwest meal of posole, tempary bean salsa with fried Navajo bread and prickly pear lemonade. Well worth a visit even if you are not going to the museum in downtown Phoenix

The Cafe had a very healthy and diversified menu of salads, sandwiches and entrees featuring American Indian and local food. I recommend the Heard signature meatloaf sandwich made from ground bison meat. Don't forget to try the prickly pear lemonade.

The courtyard cafe was very busy when we were there, but the wait was worth it. Although we were a little chilling sitting outside in February, the food and the service were both first-rate. We had the roasted beet salad and the Spanish market salad and greatly enjoyed both of them.

The Courtyard Cafe has a fresh and welcoming atmosphere. The food offerings are perfect for a luncheon in the sun. The tacos and prickly cactus lemonade were delightful.

Located off a beautiful courtyard with optional outdoor seating. Several food options include healthier ones. Service is wonderful. No need to have your lunch or coffee break (at the coffee bar) elsewhere.

One of my favorite places to be able to indulge in the flavors of the Southwest is at the Courtyard Cafe inside the Heard Museum on Central Avenue in uptown Phoenix. They offer many dishes that are so traditional to the Southwest but not easily found in many local restaurants. One specialty is their pulled pork posole, a truly traditional... More

Ate lunch here before the presentation in the auditorium. I tried the tostadas, the guacamole was delicious and last I treat my self with fried bread and a coffee. Nice experience.
