Phoenix's long-time treasure. The food is always wonderful and the service is excellent. Sometimes a wait even with a reservation. The interior is very nice and raises the bar for most small, neighborhood chinese restaurants I've visited

Love their lunch specials. Most times I order when I get there and it's ready within 5 minutes. Prices are very reasonable.

Not closed on Saturday as TripAdvisor indicated. Singapore rice noodles and Tangerine Spicy chicken were the entrees. An egg roll and wantons for the appetizer. Egg roll was good, have had better, and the wantons were a browned to perfection, but we're lacking in the filling. The main courses more than made up for the appetizers. Chicken was thick cuts... We dined here on New Years eve with some friends and were so dissapointed. Sadly, it seems that a lot of restaurants in Phoenix have the problem of not being consistent and Desert Jade has now been put in that category. It went from one of our favorite Chinese restaurants to us not returning. The service was horrible. We waited... More

Ate hear with a co-worker for lunch. Service was very good and attentive. Food came out very fast so it is possible to get in and out of here quickly. Food was ok. Nothing special but also decent. I had a spicy dish for lunch and they do allow you to pick the "heat" level. The spring roll that came... More

Service was efficient. Water came promptly, took our order, and the food was out very fast. No time spent on chit chat. I had the King Pao Duo (chicken and shrimp) from the lunch menu. It was a little spicy and tasted great. It was serviced with plenty of rice. Free hot tea was also provided. Once done, they have... More

Have only had lunch so far and it is always tasty. It is consistently busy for lunch, with a few regulars that seem to have their own special seat. No buffet (thankfully). Everything is cooked to order. The backside of the menu offers 32 lunch combo specials, as well as appetizers, soups, chow mein, chop suey, fried rice options and... More

We went there for dinner on a Tue evening - the place was 1/2 full, a good sign. We had two dishes - the food were very good; the service was excellent.
