Mexican and Latin Cuisine are my favorite. Unfortunately those who try to put the modern flair on Mexican and Latin Cuisine fail miserably. Ticoz is a rare exception that does it well. While in Pheonix for business I stumbled upon Ticoz and saw the good reviews. It is in a strip mall but it has great atmosphere in the dining... More

Stopped into Ticoz for dinner with a friend. we ordered the shrimp ceviche appetizer and I ordered the blue corn enchiladas for my main course. The shrimp was great, the blue corn enchiladas (a house specialty) less so. The tomato, the onion, cilantro all combined with the shrimp to make the ceviche wonderful. After that I was expecting the enchiladas... More

i found this restaurant about 10 years ago on my first visit to Phoenix. Now i make it a point to stop in every time i am in town. I have not been for brunch yet, but i may try to on my next visit which is next month. I have been telling friends about this restaurant over the years... More

A Latin fusion experience that you need to treat yourself to. We discovered Ticoz a long time ago and have been regulars ever since. The food and flavors are fantastic. The portions are generous and surprisingly affordable. Three of the best things you can do are Taco Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday brunch and happy hour any night. The staff is... More

Ticoz is a trendy-ish restaurant/bar (hence "resto-bar"; one half is a bar/lounge while the other half is a conventional dining room) on 7th Street just north of Camelback. Like several of the bars and restaurants in this area, it's popular with the LGBT community though it's certainly straight-friendly. We went for Taco Tuesday at happy hour. Unlike many other "happy... More

A friend had a fundraiser where Ticoz was giving a percentage to the cause. This is not the first time we have dined here. The food was good, calamari was OK, but the entrees were much better. Yes, it's a little dark and they need new seats and furniture, but go anyway!

This place is a big bump above the typical Mexican restaurant, and has a nice ambiance too. Even though the restaurant was crowded, it was not too noisy for talking. That's a plus in my book. All of the dishes looked so appetizing, and I know that my meal was quite good. The spicing was done well, and not too... More

We had the monster quesadilla, the daily special- salmon with pineapple sauce, and the pork chile verde mac & cheese. They were all good. The restaurant is on the dark side. The service was good. Good parking.
