We've been wanting to visit this place when we're in Prescott, and finally had the chance. A fun, historic bar and restaurant with great atmosphere, food, and drinks. The staff is dressed in the old west time period. Very friendly. Really enjoyed this place. There are rumors of ghosts, but, unfortunately we didn't come across any. Highly recommended the Palace.... This is our second visit to the Palace since our last trip to the Grand Canyon two years ago. We love the history and the comfortable Old West atmosphere. Our waitress Caitlyn worked really hard to keep the nine of us happy and both the manager and the chef came by to visit at different times. The food and drink... More

This is a bar, old west style. That means some pretty strange characters are sitting and leaning at the bar. We have to check weapons at any drinking establishments, so I am assuming the holstered guns on a few hips were props. But what about a sword. Does the guy in the kilt have to check his sword?? We had... More

My husband and I had lunch at The Palace, which I would not recommend. It is a nice historical saloon, if you must, I would suggest dropping by for a drink and eat somewhere else. I had the Wranglers Reuben which was dry on the top and wet on the bottom. The Palace chips were not fresh, cold and tasted... More

Service was slow but it was Sunday and in between lunch and dinner. Good Food, great scenery inside with some great throwbacks to the old west. Worth the visit

Lovely historic restaurant, ask your waitstaff about the history and look around at the memorabilia. Food was delicious, and was able to get a couple of vegetarian choices, but not many. Not overly crowded or loud, so you could have conversation without shouting at each other. Portion size is pretty good, not enough leftovers for a second meal. Wait staff... More

On the square, this historic tavern-restaurant is a good place for lunch. The food was fine - this is not fine dining- but the service was excellent and the atmosphere worth a stop. Servers dress like the turn of the 20th century style... lots of open space so you don't dine on top of other guests.

it is a beautiful bar with a great history, the food is fair to decent, smallish portions, watch out for the high fructose corn syrup in the ice cream soda!

Great local flair. Excellent food and people are dressed like they did back in the day. Very special cocktails as well with fun names like Teddy Roosevelt Lemonade, that might not be the exact name but close!

Planned to have dinner in downtown Prescott, decided to give The Palace a try. Love the swinging saloon doors at the front entrance. Food was good with attentive staff. Glad to see the establishment and it's history being preserved.
