Heavy duty sports bar food! There were many unique selections of bar food. A hamburger was almost enough for two people. We were all quite satisfied with our various selections. The only detraction was the sound level. The noise level was okay for a sports bar but a bit loud for normal conversation.

We took relatives from California to Uncle Bears because it has a close location and a menu for nearly any taste. Whether it be a burger, pizza, wings or a salad you want, the menu can accommodate you. Our service was outstanding: our server was friendly and when asked for recommendations, she was spot on. I was concerned we'd have... More

Intended to go to the Olive Mill, but it was closed, so stopped here. Very nice neighborhood bar. Nice servers, good food, pet friendly too. Portions are large, they have gluten free items, I had a New Mexico Burger with green Chile, real deal. It is a sport crazy bar as well. Three baseball games on, NBA playoff game and... More

This is a great sports bar with great food, have been there a few times and never have been disappointed. Every table has a dog dish full of peanuts in the shell to snack on before you meal arrives and you just toss the shells on the floor, it is all part of the atmosphere along with the numerous pictures... Food not very good, poor choices on the menu. We think it was a new menu and did not offer as many items as it used to.

Uncle Bears Pub is very comfortable for a casual lunch or dinner. They have several selections of their own micro brews. My favourite is 'fence-jumper' that is a 'just-right' amber ale. We also enjoy the 'peanuts in the shell' that are served in dog bowls and you throw the shells onto the floor. All meals that we have had have... More

Stopped here enroute to our vacation rental. Our plane was an hour late so we were starving and looking for a place to grab something to eat @ about 9:00pm. Saw Uncle Bears and pulled in. Sat in the bar and the bartender was prompt with our drinks & to take our food order. Ordered wings (Parmesan wings & salt/pepper... More

Restaurant wasn't busy, but waited over an hour for our food. There was no excuse for it. And, it wasn't even good.

great drinks, great appetizers, and great atmosphere to go with the great weather. We didn't have enough room to sit with the "Nebraska" group but we actually liked our spot on the big booth better for all 12ish of us.

Uncle Bear’s Grill and Bar is an upbeat, fun establishment that has been a neighborhood favorite for the last 12 years. All 4 Valley (Phoenix, Arizona) locations feature the same unique decor (all the places you would find Bear - the owner’s former Dog lying around) such as hints of the home, backyard, garage and neighborhood. The menu is quite extensive with gourmet burgers, unique pastas, thin crust pizzas, fabulous fajitas and some good ol’ BBQ. We offer a full bar with fantastic margaritas and some of the tastier local microbrews. We display over 20 plus flat-panel TV’s for all your sports viewing pleasures and free peanuts where you can toss the shell right on the floor.
