Regrettably, after too few years this quaint wine bar has closed. It was too soon and too bad. They had some of the best pizzas and salads that I have ever tasted and the wines were quite good and reasonably priced. I still had a sandwich or two yet to try and wanted to listen to the entertainer yet again.... More

My wife and I visited Rare Earth on Alma School Road in Scottsdale, AZ on a Monday afternoon at about 13:30 in May, 2016. On the sidewalk of the middle-East side of the shopping area at the bottom of a stone staircase there is a little podium with a copy of the Rare Earth menu and prices. Our eyes immediately... More

They have gluten free items (both Pizza and Salads). They offer entertainment on weekends (check for exact times and days) and the environment is a great casual experience.

Enjoyed lunch there twice. Delightful and attentive staff and nice menu choices. Loved starting with a hummus platter. We were very pleased with all our choices. Inexpensive. Would like to try their pizza sometime.

I was part of a group of hikers and mountain bikers who went to Rare Earth for lunch after participating in a fundraising event on the weekend. Rare Earth has a half sandwich and half salad lunch special, and I had a Goodfella sandwich and a pear and blue cheese salad. The portions are large, and the prices commensurate. The... More

Visited the Men's Room and there was no soap. As I came out a waiter was going in. I told him there was no soap. He said - Oh that's OK. I said NO it is not; this is a restaurant go and get some soap. He gave me a look and I said NOW. So he knocked on the... More

Still the best pizza in town; but the service is so poor that the quality of the food can no longer compensate. After waiting 22 minutes for someone to greet the table after we were seated, we were told that the wine we always ordered was not available....that the distributor had changed the the name and offered a taste of... We came here with a Groupon which is a good thing since the full price for 2 glasses of wine and 2 individual pizzas would have been over $80. They have a basic price for the pizza then charge through the nose for each and every little topping you want. There was one other couple on the patio and one... More

My husband and I took a drive on a Saturday and stopped at Rare Earth for a late lunch. We sat on the balcony overlooking a beautiful part of the Pinnacle Peak area of Scottsdale. The menu had several different types of items: salads, sandwiches, pizza, appetizers and there was a pretty extensive wine menu. The service was delightful. We... More

We got some good pizza and apps (pretzel board) and enjoyed the live music a lot. Google had some trouble navigating right to it, it's above the Rosati's.
