We have been going to LA Casita for years and years. Normally we go to LA Casita during the day since it is in town. The only other restaurant like this has been Ricardo's which is located a good way down Hwy 92 around Hereford. The food is comparable to LA Casita but it is located inconveniently for a lunchtime... I'm a Mexican food snob, and was very impressed with the food at La Casita. They have a very expansive menu, as well as a full bar. The service was great, and don't even get me started about the deserts.

Very popular. Food was great. Margaritas are fresh. Restaurant was packed on Saturday evening. Would recommend reservations - Sierra Suites is happy to do this.

I had carnitas for dinner, & my wife had the taco salad. The Carnitas were served fajita style on a szziling plate on top of the vegetables, and there was a side plate of rice beans and Pico De gallo. The Carnitas beans and rice or all outstanding. My wife said her taco salad was very good. We tried all... More

Our server, Elisa, was top notch and on the ball offering great customer service. The tortilla crisp was suggested by Fran at Sierra Suites (next door where we stayed and received 10% off with room key). It did not disappoint. We added long green chiles which wee amazing. My husband and I shared the trio fajitas which were also amazing.

We dined here on "Taco Tuesday" and the restaurant was busy, but fortunately our service was quick. The food was OK, not great, but OK. The disappointment came with how the restaurant nickeled and dimed us. First there was the very small bowl of chips which our server told us "only the first bowl was free, after that it was... More

Yummy food better get there early because it gets packed. Good size tacos are a dollar each if a beverage is purchased. sodas are $2.49 and the Margaritas are $3. rice and beans are $1.75 extra definitely worth it. Two tacos rice and beans with a margarita $8.75.

Superb food at a decent price. The waitress was helpful and prompt. As the food... hold onto your seat because it was wonderful. I even had a Red Snapper prepared "just so" and you normally don't think about fish when you think of Mexican food but then again this place goes a little beyond the Tex Mex stereotype. Authentic, authentic,... More

The title says it all. This was nothing to impress. Food was average and service was kind of slow. I expect more from Mexican restaurants in Az, especially this close to the boarder..

We stayed next door and tried this place out. There was 3 of us and we all liked our food. The Southwest Chicken, Chicken Tacos and Enchiladas were all great. The service was pretty slow, but we were not in a hurry this night. If we had been, this might have been a problem. However it probably was just our... More
