Love me some mexican food, and this is, by far, some of the best fast food mexican I have ever had. We were in Yuma for 5 days and went twice!! I found the staff the be friendly and helpful. The food was to die for. Great taco salad. Amazing carne asada burrito's. Good Salsa sauce. I prefer my a... More

The front staff is not very helpful if you are not a local and not specific. Seriously, one of our group wanted chips with guacamole, got two small 2 oz containers (like, for ketchup) and no chips. Tacos in the taco dinner were greasy and bland and the beans and rice were unimpressive. Hamburger comes loaded with lettuce tomato and... More

Ate here with friends who have moved here 30 years ago. They love the Machaca beef burritos and buy them by the dozen and freeze them. The best way to describe them is the beef is like Chicago Italian Beef but with Mexican spices and of course in a tortilla, not a crusty roll. This beef is also very moist... More

My favorite Mexican restaurant since 1967. Still the same after all these years. Consistently fantastic food.

Best rolled tacos I buy them by the Dozen and freeze them because I live too far to enjoy this place at least weekly I also buy the bean and cheese burritos and freeze them. Everything is delicious here. Some of the people here at work have been there forever. You can call your order ahead and pick up or... More

I am a huge fan of Mr. G's, it's roots date back to the 1950s. As a kid growing up Phoenix, trips to San Diego meant that reaching Yuma was the half-way point and time for Mexican food. La Casa Gutierrez was the place to stop for tasty Mexican food, it closed a few years ago, but Mr. G's keeps... More

This place has delicious Mexican food. Very reasonable. I recommend rolled tacos and burritos. I also return to Phoenix with 5dozens of uncooked rolled tacos to make for my family. Easy to hop on and off freeway on your way to CA.

Mr G and Chili Pepper (same family owners) are legends in Yuma and are fondly remembered by those who use to be Yumans and have moved away. The food is very good, prices are reasonable, portions are just right. If you feel the burrito is too small, order a second one. The price is right. there is inside seating and... More

After visiting the folks, this is the 1st place we stop for food. Total deliciousness, worth buying 6 months worth to take home and freeze.
