The shredded beef folded tacos are the best. The dinner combos are affordable and filling. If you have a big appetite, get something extra on the side. It's easy to do because the prices are very reasonable. Check out the colorful decor. This is a local favorite so you'll get to see lots of people and get a feel for... More

Since it has been awhile since I was in town, I had to make my way to Chile Pepper. Of course it did not disappoint. I had the machaca with no egg burrito, rice, and beans. I also had to get a side of fries. Their hamburgers and fries are pretty good as well. This is a place where you... More

If your in the Yuma area and want to try the "local" food this the place to go! Normally I would never order a plain bean and cheese burrito but I do here and they are excellent! I really cant explain why they are so good but trust me, they are!

This place is the same family that had "La Casa Gutierrez." Senior Gutierrez passed away on '91, bit his wife and family continue today with this establishment.

This is a busy place as it is one of the award winners for Burritos in the USA. We ordered a lot and it came to only $65. Carne Asada was very good and not overloaded with sauce and plenty of meat. We would go back the next time we are in Yuma.

Lured by a highly positive rating, we were equally pleased with our order of 12 to go. Many did not make the trip home. We will make this a regular stop when next in Yuma!

I always bring an ice chest to grab some bean and cheese and bean, rice, and cheese burritos to take back home with me! And omg the salsa is to die for!

There's really not much to say about the atmosphere. You don't come here for the atmosphere. You come here because you're hungry. Sometimes, there is quite a line (usually if school is in session or during the winters). The food does have plenty of flavor. The value for money is decent. Is it the best Mexican food? That's up for... More

Once you have eaten at Chili Pepper it is pretty tough to eat Mexican food anywhere else. Friends from out of town ask you to ship them burritos and tortillas from Chili Pepper. As my son and daughter-in-law come into town for a visit they place a phone order at Chili Pepper once they cross Telegraph Pass!! Bean and cheese... More

A coworker mentioned this place to me so we stopped on the way home from San Diego. My wife and I had the Carne asada mixed burro and I ordered some rolled tacos. Our friend ordered the tamale meal. I also ordered 2 bean burros to go, to bring back to my friend. Needless to say, the food was fantastic.... More
