Great place to eat you can't buy fish and all the trimmings for the price that they offer. Plus at home you have to cook. Like how they remodeled the place. Well worth the price. I will be back with my family.

The food at this place is absolutely horrible. When you walk in they have a neat atmosphere so you get your hopes up. The pay up front price is sky high so you think "it has better be good", then you try the food. Everything tastes the same, like old dirty grease. Seriously, there is no difference between a French... More

I was very disappointed with our meal and service today. We've been going to Payton Creek for years and have never experienced what we did today. They've done some remodeling and have raised the prices but the food was not good today and our waitress maybe came to the table once and the place wasn't busy and saw her just... More

This is actually mine and my husbands favorite place to eat until this past Saturday. Buffet is$14.00 doesn't include the peel em eat em shrimp now, you have to pay $5.50 for a half pound and $11.00 for a pound so that would make your buffet $25.50 to add a 1/2 pd shrimp and $25.00 to add a pound of... This is a simple place that serves a simple chicken and catfish buffet. These is nothing special about the atmosphere, but it is a good family value for the money. If simple is okay with you, give it a try.

Visited on January 10, 2014. As you turn into the drive leading to the restaurant, you get that feeling of driving over a levee which starts putting you into that 'fish' frame of mind. As you start walking up to the restaurant, you come to a bridge that crosses a creek of running water. It was raining the night we... More

My son and I ate here tonight, and we both ate so much shrimp that we skipped dessert. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. The shrimp were good, as were the catfish and tea. Other offerings included fried: mushrooms, hushpuppies, pickle slices, corn nuggets, apple sticks, okra, French fries, chicken, frog legs, and a few other offerings; a few... More

Fantastic buffet. The cajun catfish filets are seasoned but not spicy. The boiled shrimp is properly seasoned while cooking. There are plenty of choices for anyone not wanting fish. The dessert selection will keep you growning. Don't plan much exercise after enjoying this fine food.
