Thankfully, the Taco Bell was located next to the Dollar General, so we could pull in with our travel trailer. Corning restaurants almost universally lack the facilities to accommodate the rv business. The food was typical Taco Bell: underwhelming but...easy.

Driving on RT 67 great place to stop

I travel up and down 67 a lot going to and from Illinois, and it always is the perfect place at the perfect time ! The service is Great ! The place is nice and clean ! And the food is good ! What better for lunch or a late afternoon lunch , just saying it works out perfect for Us !

Horrible customer service

I don't know if there is an app issue or what the problem may be, but every time I order nachos belle grande and swap out the beef for black beans, I end up with beef and no black beans. When I go back to check the order, it does not reflect the change either. So... I called the Corning location and complained. This happened 2 days in a row. The first time, I second guessed myself and thought maybe I had forgotten to change to black beans, although I knew I had, because that is always the first thing I do. That was yesterday... July 8, 2022. Today, I decided to place another order since I didnt get to eat yesterday's order containing meat. So, the first thing I did was swap out the beef for black beans. I TRIPLE checked it before i submitted the order. When my partner got home with it and I opened the container, I immediately saw that it was beef and not beans. I checked the order reciept on the app and it did not reflect the change to beans either. The person I spoke to when I called about the issue said it was probably the app and that she would remake the order for me if I wanted to drive back down. I had my partner go back to the store and when she arrived they refused to remake the order. They acted as though no one had spoken to me. So basically, a wasted trip back to Corning in 103 degree heat. I will not be ordering from the Corning location again. If they didn't want to remake the order, they should have said so on the phone. I have wasted too much money on two orders valued @ $8.54 each that I could not eat. Not to mention the wasted fuel to go back to the store in this heat only to be treated so poorly. I could even understand if they said on the phone...sorry, we can't remake it since it appears it was ordered that way. But, to tell someone to drive back to the store and then refuse to remake it.... that is extremely unprofessional. As someone who is plant-based, there are already few options in the Corning area when it comes to dining out. And now, I have one less option because I am not going to risk losing more money at Taco Bell.

I've got two words for you, Mexican Pizza. If you haven't tried a Mexican Pizza at Taco Bell, when in Corning, give it try. All items on the menu are great, but we all have our favorites. You can't go wrong with a taco as well.
