the cafe is surrounded by flowers & gardens, including its own organic veggie garden-very calm, relaxing place--they don't rush you at all- you can eat, drink a beer, read, then head back into the museum for another culture lesson...highly recommend spending some time here

We loved the museum cafe at patan museum. The garden setting is a refreshing break from the dense city surrounding and the staff are very warm and helpful. Prices are very reasonable too. Take a break here after the gorgeous museum.

I like to eat in this restaurant, within the museum; The place is quiet; That position is very good! If you are in a group it is recommended to reserve a table installed in the garden; We opted for a well cooked buffet; The rates are a little higher than elsewhere however this break is very nice; Service fairly impersonal,... After 2 hours at the Patan Museum, we were in the mood for a round of hot coffee and stepped across to the attached Patan Museum Cafe for some snacks & coffee. It is an open air café in a garden setting. A point to note before ordering is that tea/coffee/ cocoa orders are provided in pots, not cups -... More

This cafe has to be best cafe in town! Great hospitality and great environment. I totally love this cafe but when we went there it was already raining so didn't enjoy much. But this place looks amazing when it's sunny and I would definitely recommend others to visit there when it's sunny outside .

The garden and setting is amazing however the food itself is quite average. I had the chicken burger which was cold and the bun was like sawdust.

We stopped off for a couple of pots of tea at this lovely little cafe which is an breath of fresh air after the business of the square. The staff were friendly and the tea delicious, and it was lovely to have a quiet space with vegetation and the beautiful architecture surrounding us. Definitely worth a visit to help overcome... We visited this cafe as we were wandering through the museum bldg. at Patan Durbar Square in late December 2015. The cafe has a wonderful ambience, set in a garden-style outdoor environment. The damaged Krishna temple can be clearly seen from the cafe. The food choices were good. We had traditional Nepali tea, coffee and toast here. All were tasty.... More
