Best salsa in the known universe -- hands down. This place takes cash only -- kinda puzzling, but there you have it. (Be prepared when you go in.) A waitress named Nancy was especially kind to us, and gave us all kinds of great local info. The steps outside are steep, and probably best avoided during icy weather. (Don't worry,... More

We always eat our Mexican meal here at the Oasis. The proprietor is terrific, so friendly and helpful. Loves visiting with babies and small children. The food is fantastic! We all end up stuffing ourselves with too much food when we eat here, then come back for more.

Love a place that has food choices that are made from scratch. The locals love it and so did we! The salsa is homemade and delicious. Stop in for brunch or lunch your and tastebuds with thank you!

Don't let the stairs deter you - it's worth a trip up/down the stairs. Ark (fresh, local)-Tex mix with imaginative vegetarian entrees. Fresh salsa verde. Owner/wait staff welcoming. Food arrived at the table in fairly short order. Classic rock and peace decor.

They call their food Ark-Mex which perfectly describes their dishes. We split the cheese/onion enchiladas which came with a salad and vegan beans. Delicious! The servings were generous, and the staff is a hoot! Nothing fancy on the inside, a bit of a walk either upstairs or downstairs, depending which way you are coming from. I'm sorry we waiting so... My husband and I have been coming here for 17 years. The food is always delicious. The barbacoa enchiladas are amazing. The chips and green salsa are a special treat. We were able to purchase a quart of the green salsa to enjoy at our cabin later this week. Score!! Highly recommended for a filling and delicious lunch.

This is our 3rd year to eat at Oasis and it always amazes us how good it is. The fresh homemade green salsa is so good that I order a some in advance to take home a few days in advance. Everything is great

Fresh food! Service was a little slow but well worth the wait. The restaurant is tiny! I can't wait to go back.

We have been coming to this place for years. Used to be a few alleys away and now expanded into a larger space but hasn't lost the charm! The food is fresh and so delicious. The salsa could be the meal. Made every morning fresh, it is something we buy more of to take home. So So So good! If... More
