In downtown Kalambaka, but with a view of the meteora cliffs, this restaurant served us freshly made traditional Greek dishes. The wait staff was friendly and helpful to a family. This was an excellent restaurant and worth the time to visit while in the town.

We were looking for a place serving vegan food as well as meat and our hotel manager recommended this restaurant. In the centre of town, very friendly staff and food that was even more delicious than what my mother used to cook. We miscalculated as we’re unaware of portion sizes and ordered way too much food. All absolutely delicious and not too oily. Recreations of traditional salads ie potatoe salad or aubergine salad, excellent, with a modern twist.
Very reasonably priced. Family of 4 paid 68 euro.
Highly recommended.

Very friendly services, reasonably priced. As the waiter soon noticed that we are vegetarians, he recommended appropriate dishes for us. Food came very fast and we had delicious baked feta, aubergines saganaki, pastitcio without beef and stuffed peppers and tomatoes. Recommended.

After a promising appetizer, main lamb dish is served with grossly overcooked peas and liquified eggplant. I suspect the plate served was leftover from a tourist bus exiting while we entered. Both kitchen staff and waiting staff conniving to pass off this as the Best the restaurant has to offer. Skip this restaurant and spend your money on an honest value.

We went here to try the real traditional Greek cuisine and it was absolutely fantastic, from the outstanding location with a view on the mountains, from the food to the kind waiters, from the wine to the price. I firmly recommend you to go there and see what I just described with your eyes and your mouth. Efkaristo :)

We tried out this restaurant after reading the fantastic reviews and wished we had another night in the area to try out more of its dishes.
The service and atmosphere were fantastic - cheerful waiters keen to give you a great experience, tweeting birds (they have a resident parrot and numerous finches singing whilst you eat), lots of greenery and across from a square with a fountain. A table near the road also gives you a view of the rocks of Meteora.
But the food was truly what stood out if what you are looking for is extremely tasty, authentic, home style Greek cooking.
We had the Eggplant Saganaki - seriously the best thing we have eaten in a long time. The Meteora Salad was excellent and my Stifado with rice was top notch. My husband is Greek and his dad owned a small hotel and was a trained chef...this food reminded me of his cooking many years ago (he is now 87).
Go....you won’t be disappointed.

The corner is busy but it's fun people watching. Nice restaurant with very attentive service. We had the roasted pork, roasted eggplant, and the children had pasta. The roasted pork and eggplant were both delicious. They really stand out from all our meals in Greek. We would go back.

This restaurant worth to try, trust me this is what you call food for soul. It’s not just the food that extremely delicious and healthy.We had Stuffed Pepper and Tomato, you can feel that the food was cooked with love same thing with service.Everyone so enthusiast to serve you.Like they take a pleasure by giving a pleasure.So heartwarming especially after climbing Meteora, as we decided to walk up to Trinity Monastery and called a cab to go down
Otherwise we wouldn’t have time to catch bus to Volos.This restaurant just 100m from Bus station, the guy understood we have only 30mnts for lunch and we managed to eat without hurry. Food served fast, they do really look after their customers. At the end the owner offered us water melon as a courtesy from the house. Grande Classe!

Had the slow cooked lamb in wine sauce (14 euros) and the slow-cooked veal with onions (14 euros). Both were so delicious! Lamb meat fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. Tender, flavorful, and juicy. Nice outdoor patio dining. Stick to the "grandma section" of the menu and you can't go wrong.

We ate here twice - the menu is fairly standard but the food is decent and portions generous. We shared a good mixed grill on the first night, and on the second I tried the moussaka (good) and my husband had a simple but good pork souvlaki. Wine by the carafe was decent quality, and the staff are all extremely pleasant and good-humoured.
It's quite a big place with a lot of covers, so I can only assume that in normal times it gets very busy, probably with mainly tourist traffic, but in COVID times everything is so much quieter - however there was a steady stream of customers while we were there, most of whom looked to be having a nice time.
We're dog lovers so the two big soppy hounds owned by the restaurant, who were padding around the tables didn't bother us at all, but I did notice they were very swiftly seen off by one of the waiters when another customer requested it. He's obviously done it many times before!

We came for lunch after visiting the area.
We were seated without waiting and we ordered some traditional dishes, such as tzatziki and musaka .
The food was great and allow us to continue our trip without feeling fullness.

While the waiters were very nice and the food arrived after 5 minutes of waiting, I wished they would have taken more time to prepare a proper meal. The moussaka I had ordered tasted average, but the portion was very small. The mashed potatoes that came with it were not freshly prepared but made from instant powder and tasted accordingly aweful. A huge shame - wouldn't recommend.

I was at first a bit skeptical, the restaurant being located in the touristic city and on a very touristic road, but the salad meteora we tried, with rocket and small fruits was fabulous and quite refreshing after a long day of visits. The pork ribs were more like grilled pork chops than Texan style ribs, but still quite good, while the veal with onions was really great, not unlike a North African tagine. House wines, red and white, were ok. Service was fast and pleasant. You can find good ice creams down the road, there are two good bakeries selling ice creams. Enjoy !

We had spent the day hiking around the local area and were ready for a bite to eat. Trip advisor had only good things to say about this place. My partner had stuffed peppers which she enjoyed. I ordered a lamb meat kebab, which was at least 50 percent fat. Not really my cup of tea. For slick service its ok but do miss the lamb its dreadfull

This is the best food we had in Kalambaka! We absolutely loved the location and wished we'd come here on our first night too, don't bother with any other place for local food. We arrived early (7pm ish) and didn't feel rushed into ordering, the staff were happy to leave us with some drinks and the menu for us to decide what to have. The service was great throughout too.
We had the saganaki (tangy, cheesy and great with the fresh bread), moussaka (tasted fresh, strong flavours and well-made), but the stand out of the whole trip was the stewed chicken! This dish had melt in the mouth succulent chicken, fluffy potatoes, super-flavourful rice and peas. This is a dish not to be missed!
The atmosphere is great and on a warm late-summer's evening there isn't anywhere else I'd want to be. You get fantastic views of the meteora rocks and the fountain over the road. Arrive early or book a table to get one on the outside nearest the road for the best views.
It is slightly more pricey than other places in town but well worth it.
