In the touristy south, this authentic local coffee house is worth promoting. Made a perfect stop along the ring road for to-go coffee.

Very nice atmosphere and stuff, great coffee. What more can I wish? :-) I was here already 3 times and I'll come back here for the duration of my stay in Iceland.

Traveling with my 17 year old daughter was great, apart from having to find food she was happy with. We saw the reviews here for great waffles, and she wanted to go nowhere else. We arrived before they were open, but the wait was worth it. She even loved the rhubarb jam. What a wonderful find!

We were in Selfoss looking for a coffee shop...we saw this shop with parking in front. We both had coffees with a piece of carrot cake which was delicious covered in cream with bits of carrot. It had a very laid back atmosphere and the two ladies were very friendly. It had both second hand and new books.

We found this cafe via Trip Advisor as our first stop in Iceland having landed a few hours earlier. What a gem of a find. It's a coffee-shop in a bookshop with new and second-hand books in all languages to browse, read over coffee or buy. The lady who served us was really friendly. The great tasting coffee included free... More

We just randomly stopped here during our drive through Selfoss and were really good surprised how nice and cosy this place was. You are sitting directly between the books, which you can also buy. Coffee is good, we tried also chocolate cake - also tasty. The waiter was very friendly and kind, recommended for a visit :).

Lovely little bookshop in Selfoss with a cozy atmosphere. You can get a cup of coffee and a wonderful waffle while reading one of the many secondhand books. Some are even from the 17th century! It is very clean and newly painted ;)

Nice bookstore with a warm welcome. Like the atmosphere with the ricketty chairs and the tall bookshelves. The staff is nice and helpfull. Well worth a visit if you're in town.
