Had to wait too long for food. The vegetables were luke warm and looked like they were around all day. The meat over cooked for my partner. Sauce was forgotten twice. The only good thing is that after getting the manager after complaining we didn't have to pay for the food that i had eaten ( was very hungry). Partner... More

We have just returned home from the most memorable meal. The restaurant itself is tastefully decorated and overlooks Carrigaline. The menu had plenty of choice as did the wine menu. I ordered the chicken spring rolls and the burger both delicious but the spring rolls must get extra praise, they were so tasty and plentiful yet so light. My husband... More

The Bistro handled the dinners and Breakfast very well. Even accommodated my wife and her special diet. Service is top notch. Food was very well prepared and had no complaints

The Bistro is only open at the weekends but well worth a visit. It has a nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. There is a good choice of reasonably priced food and you are not rushed

We asked for a window seat which was supplied willingly. There was a good choice on the menu and items were reasonably priced . The staff were helpful and the restaurant was warm

Tried The Bistro for the first time with 3 friends. Was suprised how spacious it was and found it very comfortable and warm (storm Desmond was trashing the streets outside). Found the menu varied enough, and between us we had 2 starters, 4 main courses and 2 desserts. Food was very tasty and importantly to me, fresh. I really enjoyed... More

The food here is excellent and the staff are very courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend The Bistro for a meal. I have 1 concern, the wheelchair facility is very small, the wheelchair needs to be left outside, while the individual uses the facility

good presented roomy with several screens for sport and pleasant staff, poor food prep and chef. Get in early for access to full menu as not all items on menu are available. Some meat dishes poor quality.

Great meal, had the 3 course option with prawns for starters, pork fillet for main and parfait for dessert. Could not fault any of the food, and the staff were excellent also. This place is worth a visit if in Carrigaline

Friday was our second visit to the Bistro in just over a month. Again the food was top class. The value for money is exceptional. I had seafood chowder for starter. With the home made bread, this was a meal in itself. For mains, I went again for the lamb shank. Beautiful but I was so full after the chowder... More
