I stopped here for a pint after seeing the Ballinasloe Horse Festival, which was unlike anything I'd ever seen before -- horses standing around everywhere, mingling with the festival goers. Had a few pints in here for the first time and it was a lovely experience. The two gentlemen behind the bar were very welcoming.

If you looking for a decent time out on a Wednesday night, this is a great stop. Come in after 10:30 and the local music starts up.

Great public house in the centre of Ballinasloe. Very good friendly service. Live music on Saturday night and also Friday's and Sunday's. Several tv's if you want to watch sport etc. Enjoyable visit.

The pub was recommended to us by our tour guide and she was right. We felt welcome from the door, an elderly man even came to talk to us, seeing that we were foreigners. Definitely a good place to have a few drinks when you're in town.

Nice to go there for a pint, music and to watch sport. It's an average pub, nothing special. Live music some evenings.

Had a drink here while visiting Ballinasloe. There was a trad band playing. They were quite good. The place was packed which added to the atmosphere. Seevice good. Would visit again.

I stopped by this pub for a pint when I last visited Ballinasloe. The service was lacking any enthusiasm. The price I paid for 2 pints of Guinness was much higher than other pubs in the area. As there are only 12 of the 43 pubs in Ballinasloe still operating I would think pricing and service might have been more... More
