This is a nice family friendly bar, which has a a restaurant and serves bar food. Reasonably priced food was good but no brilliant. Service was very good. Good stop for lunch and a pint I would suggest. We were there off peak and it was fine, would say it gets packed very quickly in the high season.

Just had the most beautiful food and service we've ever had in a restaurant. Chris has to be the barman/waiter I've ever came across. Totally textbook well. Done guys

Nice lunch of oysters and Guinness. Would recommend without hesitation. Great staff, good food and quick service. Stayed in the area two years ago and they even sent a car to pick us up for dinner. An easy place to linger with the log fire and music.

We called in to get a Sunday dinner and were really let down. We both ordered Roast beef dinners and after a long wait out they came. Beef was fatty and not much of it, hardly any gravy, 1 roast potato and mash... no sign of any vegetables. Managed to get the attention of a member of staff who apoligised... More

We dined here as a family one evening while visiting Carlingford. Enjoyed the oyster starter and fish and chips. Good pub food.

The café in Carlingford was full to the max so we went across the road to the Carlingford Arms. I ordered chowder which was tasty but so thick I was able to eat it with my fork as I wasn’t given a spoon. I also had to go and ask for the brown bread which should have accompanied the chowder.... Was down for a few pints for a birthday, lovely pints of Guinness must be said. Surprisingly not that common in Ireland! Standard good pub grub, wouldn't say it was overly priced or too cheap really.Bar man sussed our Taxi too! Bingo!
